Inspired by her love of self-care, advocacy for the culture, sisterhood, and self-love, Dr. N. Battle, also known as "Lady Rose", created Lady Rose Specialty Teas as the one-stop shop for all women looking to take control over their bodies, while centering the unique needs of Black women and women of color. Using 100% natural herbs sourced both globally and locally, Lady Rose Specialty Teas provides customized herbal infusions and tea products as an alternative to the toxic products we put in and, on our bodies daily, to promote self-love, empowerment, and holistic wellness.
Dr. Battle’s grandmother, Roseanna, serves as the inspiration for Lady Rose Specialty Teas. Roseanna was a strong woman from the South who cared for herself and others using natural remedies; we are committed to honoring her legacy by using natural herbal teas to treat the WHOLE woman—mind, body, and soul. Although our brand centers women, our teas are enjoyed by men, and in the spirit of community, we encourage men to drink herbal teas for holistic wellness.

Lady Rose Specialty Teas is a lifestyle brand that promotes education, community engagement, and empowerment for all women, while acknowledging unique concerns for Black women and women of color. We believe that these underrepresented groups and their allies of all shades can thrive in spaces created for advocacy, justice, and love. As Founder and CEO of Lady Rose Specialty Teas, N. Battle, Ph.D. strongly believes in utilizing her sociological expertise as an educator, social justice researcher, and herbalist to raise awareness and educate customers on the benefits of incorporating all-natural, organic herbs, and enriching organic oils into their lives. The integrity of the ingredients she uses and the actual process of blending each product is done with special care. As such, Lady Rose Specialty Teas is committed to joining forces with philanthropic and community organizations to promote social justice. We donate a portion of all sales to local and national scholarship efforts to girls in underrepresented academic fields and underserved communities.
