Take a trolley ride:
RVA on Wheels


Take a deep dive into the 400 year history of Richmond in a 2-hour tour RVA Historic Trolley Tour. Richmonders and visitors alike are sure to learn something new. Book a tour on the third Friday of each month for the Hop On, Stand Up Comedy Brewery Tour for a night of laughing while exploring the growing beer scene in Richmond. Take in the views of the river and the city on the Hollywood Cemetery Tour for local stories on some of Richmond’s most well-known history makers. They also offer fun and exciting public and private tours of on a Segway, Electric bike or Gemcar.

Go for a nice stroll:
Maymont


Explore the gardens, tour the mansion, watch river otters play or picnic on the lawn. There are 100 acres to enjoy. The grounds and gardens are free and open daily year round. The Maymont Mansion, Farm and Wildlife have a suggested admission of $5. Get fancy and enjoy a carriage or golf cart tour of the grounds.

Tour the museum:

Take in the beautiful art exhibits 365 days a year. The VMFA offers walk-in tours daily as well as guided and audio tours. There’s always something new to uncover at the VMFA. The Amuse Restaurant is located inside the museum so stop in for lunch or brunch on Sunday’s.

Take a beer and cider tour:
Scott’s Addition

 
Self guided of course! Scott’s Addition is home to over 10 breweries, cideries, meaderies, and distilleries. This booming entertainment district features delicious local restaurants, a growing number of shops, a rooftop bar, a boutique bowling alley, cinema, shuffleboard bar and two arcade bars.

Catch a concert:
The National

 The National is a historic theater that hosts live entertainment concerts year round. Shows typically begin around 7:30 to 8:00 p.m. and tickets are required for entry. Drinks are available for purchase to help close out the night.
