Bark in the Park

Dogs are welcome to attend every Flying Squirrels’ Monday home game for free at The Diamond! The Flying Squirrels provide a comfortable setting for your pup with water dishes along the concourse, dog-related vendors, and sections reserved exclusively for guests with pets each Monday! Maybe skip the hot dog during this visit.

Stony Point Fashion Park

This open-air mall loves pets! With pet stations, large water bowls, and plenty of pet-specialty stores, you’ve just found your goodest shopping buddy.

TAKE A WALK:
Belle Isle

This is an easy hike with plenty of shade which is great for bringing your pup along. Just under 2 miles, it runs alongside the river so the views are incredible. Since this is a popular trail it is well maintained.

South of the James

Nothing beats a Saturday morning stroll through one of the Top 10 Best Farmers’ Markets in the U.S. with your furry BFF! In addition to snagging some great produce, products, and breakfast - there are plenty of items for dogs including treats, leashes, collars, and more.

Barker Field

Barker Field is Richmond’s oldest dog park situated in Byrd Park behind the Carillon and Dogwood Dell outdoor theater. It’s a multi-acre wooded site that’s fully fenced with water, shelters, and seating plus a separate area for small dogs.
