Stella’s Grocery
If you haven’t made it out to the award-winning restaurant Stella’s, you can get the next best thing by popping into any one of their three grocery store locations. Pick from a wide selection of snacks, beer, wine, specialty groceries, or get a made-to-order sandwich or fresh latte from the espresso bar. Did we mention the homemade desserts?

Shields Market
For decades, Shields Market has been a staple in The Fan for take-home nightcaps and midnight snacks. Since the market was taken over by the owners of Joe’s Inn, it has expanded to carry some of the delicious home-style food that the beloved restaurant across the street is known for.

Strawberry Street Market
This local market has it all: groceries, beer and wine, cold remedies, and even school supplies. Beyond their large alcohol selection, they even offer beer by the keg or half keg (for your first post-pandemic party)! If you happen to find yourself in the neighborhood looking for some grub, they also have a wide variety of ready-to-eat breakfast, lunch, and dinner options prepared fresh in their deli section.

Brookland Park Market

Northside Gourmet Market
If you’re in the Northside, make sure to stop at Northside Gourmet Market.
