Restaurant Adarra
Holly and I recently had a date night at Adarra, and it’s an absolute must. Known for its Basque-inspired cuisine, stellar wine list, and warm hospitality, they’ve relocated to a larger space in Oregon Hill, making it a little easier to snag a coveted reservation. Once named one of Esquire’s best new restaurants in America, it’s a dream for anyone who loves Spanish flavors and expertly curated wines. We had an incredible experience, especially enjoying the Beet Salad and the Autumn Olive Farm Bone-In Pork Chop. Peep our Reel here.
Moulin Rouge! at Altria Theater
I’ve been lucky enough to attend all the Broadway shows this season, and it’s been such a treat. Growing up far from easy access to Broadway, I don’t take for granted how amazing it is to have these performances right here in Richmond. I just saw Moulin Rouge! The Musical, and it was amazing — the costumes, music, and set were all incredible. It runs through March 16, so don’t miss your chance to catch a showing!

Crewel & Unusual
I recently came across this extremely cutie small-batch embroidery art and apparel shop. For starters, we love a clever name — as they put it, “Fun fact: ‘Crewel’ is a type of embroidery, pronounced just like ‘cruel.’ All puns intended.” And their whimsical designs drive home the “unusual” in the best ways. These flap hats? I simply can’t. (See: I actually must. I’m thinking pizza for me.)
Cabo Fish Taco
Paige and I recently caught up over lunch at Cabo Fish Taco, and their whole menu is something to write home about. I’m always down for a killer fish taco, and their Tavarua Tuna Tacos are exactly that — blackened lemon rubbed ahi tuna in a kiwi-pineapple fajita sauce, stuffed with fresh greens, tomato, guacamole and mixed cheese, topped with their honey wasabi sauce. Bookend that with an order of the Baja Shrimp & Crab Dip and the Jalapeño Cheddar Mashers, and you’ll be back tomorrow for another round, easily.
