As a parent, you often give up your personal relaxation time for the sake of your kid’s activities. On the other hand, not every place a parent might want to relax will be engaging or appropriate for his or her kid. If you’re searching for a happy medium, try out these five coffee and playtime spots where parents and their kiddos can both enjoy themselves.
Blanchard’s Coffee Roasting Co. (Forest Hill)
Blanchard’s is undoubtedly a Richmond staple, and the Forest Hill location provides an inviting atmosphere for parents and kids in equal measure. This coffeehouse is located only a stone’s throw from Westover Hills Elementary School’s playground. Blanchard’s proximity to the playground makes for a perfect and frequent weekend outing for members of the surrounding neighborhood.
