Hi there! 👋

Are you sweating as you read this? It’s TOASTY out there, folks. But thankfully, Mother Nature seems to be planning for a bit of a cool-down this weekend, which means all your Father’s Day, Juneteenth, and other summer-y celebrations should be nice and comfy.

In the meantime, a tried and true “stay cool” idea we put into practice already this week is a museum visit. The Science Museum of Virginia recently debuted its new Planet Shark exhibit, and as card-carrying Shark Week enthusiasts, we were loving it. It’s got the AC factor, yes, but it’s also v interesting and educational, and for all you readers looking for ways to keep the kiddos entertained this summer, it’s a great option. Highly recommend. We left with a stuffed shark. You very well may see us there for another viz.

Looking for other recs? But of course. Keep on reading on:
