Ed 216: Hanson, Canines & Cocktails, Local Emmy Winner
Hey, folks! 👋
We know: Hanson plays a show at The National this Friday, and it's all you can think about. We're in the same boat. But before we get into all that kind of good stuff ahead for the week, we've got a few fun things to gab about up top here. Liiiiiike:
We recently debuted The Family Calendar, but ICYMI, we also started rounding up the best of the best family-friendly recs in City Guide format, so you can see which happenings in partic catch our eyes each month. Here's what we scoped out for July.
Also, did you see that Richmonder Hamilton Glass WON AN EMMY?! The talented muralist and founder of Mending Walls earned the award for his film, "Mending Walls: The Documentary," which focuses on various murals throughout the River City and the artists behind them. A way-big CHEERS! to that.
AND there's a new riverfront amphitheater in the works for RVA, with an opening aimed for May 2024. Does anyone know Taylor Swift's email address? Can you forward this to her?
Okay, we're warmed up and ready to go now. Let's get an MMMBop on to the what's what for this week.
