Harry’s at Hofheimer

What it is: A modern speakeasy featuring cocktails and American cuisine

Why we love it: Step inside Scott’s Addition not-so-secret speakeasy and get the full experience of a 1928 London taproom — and yes, a password is needed.

With an air of vintage vis-à-vis, the vibrant decor welcomes guests in this play on old prohibition tactics. Harry’s offers a full suite of the classics, like a Manhattan, but they also feature other specialty cocktails and mocktails (plus shareables!).

You’ll want to add this one to your Friday-night plans ASAP.

Where to find it: 2818 W Broad St (Scott’s Addition)

Carytown Indian Cuisine

What it is: A spot for elevated Indian cuisine

Why we love it: Cozy and authentic Indian food awaits you at Carytown Indian Cuisine. Between your typical favs, like Chana Masala and curry, you’ll find other entrees to add into your order rotation. Try their Butter Chicken, which features a bed of greens, julienne cut vegetables, green apple, and house dressing. Or go for one of their many vegetarian options.

Bonchon

What it is: A delivery/takeout-only Korean fried chicken joint

Why we love it: Reopening in a new space, Bonchon is back at it in the Richmond scene. This time, they’re offering takeout- and delivery-only options out of their ghost kitchen in Scott’s Addition.

Try their Takoyaki — fried octopus dumplings drizzled with Japanese mayonnaise, katsu sauce, and sprinkled with bonito flakes and Bulgoli; it’ll leave you satisfied.

Call in and order takeout for a late night at work or Love is Blind binge sesh.

Where to find it: 2812 W Broad St (Scott’s Addition)
