Ed 87: Slay Burgers, Scorpio Rising, Shhhh

Last week we asked members to share their goals for 2020 and we were overwhelmed by the response. THANK YOU for sharing your goals with us! Many are hoping to read more books, spend less time aimlessly scrolling, be more present, be more fit, run a race, and eat more vegetables. No matter which goals you set, we hope you accomplish them and if you need any resources or recommendations please do not hesitate to reach out. Now let’s dive in for this week. Brookland Park is seeing some exciting development and we’ve got a drool-worthy giveaway. Happy reading…

Ed 84: You Cheers, We'll Give Back

We can’t wait to see you tonight at 6pm at Starr Hill Beer Hall and Rooftop! Your first beer is on the house and we’ll be donating $1 to Habitat for Humanity on behalf of every member who shows up! Kudzu Ramen will be serving up the goods. If you’ve procrastinated getting on the list, do it now (before 12pm noon). The Starr Hill team will be checking names at the door and handing out drink tickets. We like to think of this as a nice way to kick-off your holiday “vacation” because we all know not much work is getting done the rest of the year. Speaking of which, since next Wednesday is Christmas, we won’t be dropping into your inbox. We hope you made the nice list.

If your’re staying in or around Richmond, there is plenty happening. Check out the event calendar and don’t miss the NYE guide so you can make plans!

It’s Wednesday and we’re back to a normal day after the seemingly never-ending shopping/giving/spending frenzy that was the last few days! We have some good news, all you need to do here today is sit back, relax, and catch up on the happenings around town.  But if you’re like us and you still have some shopping to do, plan to attend one of these local markets.  It’s an easy way to shop multiple local vendors at once and find unique items.

Ed 81: Festivus, Barrio, & Lights

We wanted to take a moment to let you know how thankful we are to connect with you, the RVAx community, and for sharing in our enthusiasm and curiosity of all things Richmond. We hope this week is everything you want to be. For us, that means lots of stuffing, gravy, mashed potatoes, puppy snuggles, naps, and family time. Thank you for being here.

This photo above was perfectly captioned “When seasons collide”. How bizarre to get snow in mid-November but thankfully it is gone as quick as it came. This week we’ve got a lot of national headlines highlighting the beer scene, a dessertery coming early next year, and kombucha pouring in North Side. Plus a fun giveaway, a relaxing member perk, and of course top events. Let’s go —
